On Bright Saturday, April 22, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan celebrated Divine Liturgy in Nativity of the Mother of God Church in Albany, NY. The Liturgy was sung by the Youth Choir of the St. Vladimir Youth Association, this year comprised of 25 people

Although the St. Sava Serbian Cathedral community in New York City lost its church in the fire on Pascha May 1, 2016, with God’s grace, thanks to the brotherly love of the Greek and the Russian people, it continued uninterruptedly to conduct its services. Both the Greek and Russian Churches opened the doors of their temples to the faithful of St. Sava parish.

On Thomas Sunday, April 23, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, visited Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY and celebrated Divine Liturgy in the convent’s main St. Seraphim Cathedral. The First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad brought with him the Holy Fire, which had descended in Jerusalem just the week prior and was brought to America in time for the Paschal services in New York City.

On Saturday, April 29, Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern American & New York arrived at the New Kursk Root Hermitage in Mahopac, NY, of which he is the rector, and led the divine services in Nativity of the Mother of God Church on the eve of the feast of Venerable Zosimas of Solovki, Heavenly patron of the Synodal Candle Factory, which operates on the hermitage grounds.

On May 21, the Sunday of the Blind Man, His Grace, Bishop Jerome, paid an archpastoral visit to St. Nicholas Church in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy. After the greeting of the archpastor by the parish warden and rector – Archpriest Alexander Donchenko – Liturgy began.
