When: March 12-14, 2018. Retreat officially begins on Tuesday, March 13 at 8:30 AM; Monday, March 12 is designated as a travel day – Great Compline and panihida for reposed hierarchs and clergy of the Diocese – including 10th anniversary of Metropolitan Laurus – at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner.

Services: All clergy will serve at the Hierarchal Presanctified Liturgy in St. Alexander Nevsky Diocesan Cathedral on Wednesday, March 14 – 8:00 AM Hours & Typica, 9:30 AM Liturgy. Clergy are asked to bring their own black vestments. The Icon of the Mother of God “Softener of Evil Hearts” will be present.
Speakers: The main speakers at the Lenten Retreat are Bishop Nikolai (Soraich) – “Called to Serve in the 21st Century Americas: In the Footsteps of Sts. Cyril & Methodius” and Archpriest Gregory Joyce – “Weekday Divine Services of Great Lent: The Theology of the Great Fast in Action.”
