Moscow: Hierarchs of Russian Church Abroad participate in 7th Anniversary Celebrations of the Enthronement of His Holiness, Patriarch Kirill - 02/01/16

On Monday, February 1, the seventh anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Kyrill, Patriarch of Moscow & All Russia, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow. His Holiness officiated, wearing the vestments he wore during his enthronement.

Buena, NJ: Weekly Divine Services resume at Holy Protection Skete - 02/03/16

After twenty years, weekly divine services have resumed at Holy Protection Male Skete in Buena, NJ. The services began anew on February 3 of this year, and will be held on Saturdays and great feasts. On the first week of Great Lent, the services will be held daily, with the reading of the Penitential Great Canon of St. Andrew of Crete.

Pennsylvania: Archimandrite Athanasy (Mastalski) reposed in the Lord - 02/06/16

On Friday, February 6, Archimandrite Athanasy (Mastalski), longtime rector of Joy of All Who Sorrow Church in Philadelphia, PA, reposed in the Lord. He was 69 years old. Fr. Athanasy was born on June 24, 1946 in Philadelphia. In 1975, he was ordained a deacon, and in the following year a priest, by Archbishop Nikon (Rklitsky).

Kursk Root Icon Visitation through the Carolinas - 02/16/16
