On Saturday, August 9, the feast of the Holy Great Martyr & Healer Panteleimon, Archpriest Dimitri Oselinsky (cleric of St. Mary of Egypt Church in Roswell (Atlanta), GA) reposed in the Lord. He was 81 years old.

The future Fr. Dimitri was born to Mary and George Oselinsky on April 28, 1944 in Taylor, PA. In 1965, he married Mary Ann Delman; the two would go on to have two daughters, Nadine and Elaine. Fr. Dimitri was ordained to the priesthood on May 19, 1966. His pastoral career would take him to serve five parishes as rector: St. John the Baptist Church in Alpha, NJ; St. John the Baptist Church (now Cathedral) in Mayfield, PA; Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Herkimer, NY: Holy Assumption Church in Clifton, NJ; and St. Nicholas Church in Bethlehem, PA. For over 60 years, Fr. Dimitri faithfully served as a priest, touching countless lives with his unwavering faith and tireless dedication. His faith was not just a belief system; it was a way of life that radiated from him and inspired everyone he encountered.

Fr. Dimitri served for most of his life in the Orthodox Church in America, including serving on the Church’s pension committee and as its treasurer. He was mentored by the ever-memorable Archbishop Kiprian (Borisevich; +1980). Upon his retirement in 2009, he and Matushka Mary Ann moved to the Greater Atlanta area to be closer to their daughters; in 2018, he transferred to the Russian Church Abroad. Assigned to St. Mary of Egypt Church, he remained active, and would often also serve in Our Lady "Joy of All Who Sorrow" Church in Cumming, St. Mary of Egypt Church (OCA) in Norcross, GA, and Holy Myrrhbearers OCA Mission in Montgomery, AL. With the blessing of the ROCOR Synod of Bishops, he was awarded the miter on April 14, 2019.

Matushka Mary Ann reposed on January 31, 2023. Fr. Dimitri and Matushka are survived by their beloved daughters, Nadine Salamoni and Elaine Mastropaolo, sons-in-law Sal Salamoni and Jeff Mastropaolo, and grandchildren, Matthew Salamoni and Sarah Mastropaolo.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, August 14, at St. Mary of Egypt Church: 1765 Woodstock Road, Roswell, GA 30075. The burial will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park, 5188 Winters Chapel Road, Dunwoody, GA 30360.

Memory eternal to the newly reposed Archpriest Dimitri!
