With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, Archimandrite Maximos (Weimar) of the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross announced that the Brotherhood will be leaving its current location to establish the Brotherhood of the Holy Hieromartyr Dionysios the Areopagite. The Brotherhood recently faced a difficult decision; by choosing to remain within the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia and under the omophorion of Metropolitan Hilarion, a change of residence is now necessary.

Archimandrite Maximos and the Brotherhood are currently in negotiation for a new location, and hope to announce their new location soon.

The Brotherhood is excited about the prospects of this move, as it opens possibilities and opportunities for growth – both for the monastery and for the community of faithful spiritually nourished by the monastery clergy – and many will benefit. The Brotherhood’s relocation to a larger property will greatly help in this regard.

However, as with any such endeavor, the Brotherhood needs help to fund this move. To start, they need to fund the move to their new location. Then, a new church will need to be built, so that the clergy may continue serving the needs of their parish community.
