From October 4-8, Los Angeles, CA will host the 26th Annual Russian Orthodox Church Musicians’ Conference, with the theme "Prayerful Sound in the Orthodox Church: Vocal Artistry of the Deacon, Reader, and Singer at Divine Services." The lectures, master-classes, and rehearsals will be held in Holy Transfiguration Cathedral.

Among the guests will be Archpriest Alexander Ageykin – rector of Holy Epiphany Cathedral on Yelokhovo Square in Moscow and chairman of the Church & Public Council for the Development of Church Singing under the Patriarch of Moscow & All Russia – Archpriest Ioann Drobot (Paris), Protodeacon Vadim Gan (New York City), and Dr. Nicholas Schidlovsky.

The conference will conclude with a hierarchal Divine Liturgy.
