On Thursday, August 9, the brethren of Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne, WV will celebrate the feast of their beloved Heavenly patron, the Holy Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, a festal moleben will be served, in thanksgiving to the holy martyr and in order to beseech his continued aid and protection throughout the coming year.

The brethren invite everyone to submit names of the living (Orthodox and non-Orthodox) for prayerful commemoration at this service, so that they too may receive the superabundant grace poured out through the intercessions of St. Panteleimon. Names can be submitted at the monastery’s website here.
