Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the monastery’s annual solemnities in honor of the Holy Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon will not be open to the public. Though we regret not being able to celebrate the feast with the usual gathering of pilgrims, we invite everyone who is unable to attend services at their local parish to pray together with us via the online livestream.
We are pleased to announce that His Grace Nicholas, Bishop of Manhattan, still plans to preside for the feast. Lord willing, he will be joined by Archpriest Victor Potapov (rector of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Washington, DC). A festal All-Night Vigil will be served at 6:30 PM on Saturday, August 8. At 8:00 AM on Sunday, August 9, there will be a water blessing, followed by a hierarchal Divine Liturgy at 9:00 AM, culminating with a procession and moleben to St. Panteleimon.
For eight days following the feast, we will be serving a special moleben to St. Panteleimon, and we invite everyone to submit the names of those in need of his aid for commemoration during these services. Please use the form here to submit these names.
