On Friday, April 2, clergy of the New England Deanery gathered at St. Xenia Church in Methuen, MA for Presanctified Liturgy.
Archpriest Michael Crowley (dean of New England and parish rector) officiated the divine service, co-served by Archpriest Spyridon Schneider (rector of St. John the Russian Church in Ipswich, MA), Archpriest Brendan Crowley (rector of St. Nicholas Church in Enfield, CT), Archpriest Victor Boldewskul (rector of Holy Epiphany Church in Boston, MA), Archpriest Constantine Semyanko (rector of Holy Presentation Church in Stratford, CT), Priest Constantine Desrosiers (cleric of St. Xenia Church), Protodeacon Alexander Jarostchuk (cleric of Holy Epiphany Church), and Deacons Alexander Doohovskoy, Dimitri Doohovskoy and John Sarantakis (clerics of St. Xenia Church).
The service was well attended by parishioners of St. Xenia’s and some visitors. Most who attended communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.
A delicious Lenten luncheon was served afterward by Meghan Nettleton, Mat. Maria Doohovskoy, and some of the young girls of the parish.
The clergy were uplifted by the spirited conversation covering a number of important topics, and the general atmosphere of brotherly comradery that followed.
The gathering ended with an intonation of "Memory Eternal" for the newly reposed Matushka Anna Crowley, and a hearty "Many Years" for our ruling bishop, Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America & New York.
