On Thursday, December 9, Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, officiated the Rite of Nomination of Archimandrite Job (Bandmann), cleric of the monastery of St. Job of Pochaev in Munich, Germany,as Bishop of Stuttgart, vicar of the German Diocese, in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.
His Eminence was co-served by Metropolitan Mark of Berlin & Germany, Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco & Western America, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada, Bishop Irenei of London & Western Europe, and Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan.
The clergyman elected to the episcopacy delivered an introductory address Metropolitan Hilarion and the co-serving hierarchs.
The Rite of Nomination took place in accordance with the resolution of the Synod of Bishops of December 8, 2020.
