On Wednesday, December 29, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, visited the chancery of the North American Archdiocese of the Antiochian Orthodox Church in Englewood, NJ.

Here Metropolitan Nicholas was warmly greeted by His Eminence Antonios, Metropolitan of Zahle, Baalbek & Dependencies, Patriarchal Vicar of North America of the AOC, and His Eminence’s aides.

After joint prayer in the house chapel of the chancery and venerating its relics, the archpastors shared a fraternal meal, during which they discussed pressing issues in the life of the Holy Church, pastoral and missionary service, youth ministry, inter-Orthodox relations, and external activities. The hierarchs then exchanged gifts, wishing one another God’s aid.

Participating in the meeting were Archdiocese Vicar General Archpriest Thomas Zain, members of the Patriarchal Chancery, and Archpriest Serafim Gan, Chancellor of the Synod of Bishops of ROCOR.
