On April 28, the great feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), Bishop Jerome (Shaw) celebrated Divine Liturgy in Nativity of the Mother of God Church at the New Kursk Root Hermitage in Mahopac, NY. Concelebrating with His Grace were: Archpriest George Temidis (parish rector) and Deacons Konstantin Aleshin and Theodotus Conrad (parish clerics).

Upon conclusion of Liturgy, Fr. George delivered a sermon on the feast.

After the service, a festal luncheon featuring delicious fish dishes was held in the parish hall.

That evening, His Grace officiated Bridegroom Matins, the first service of Passion Week.
