On Thursday, June 13, the great feast of the Ascension of the Lord, a delegation of the Russian Church Abroad, headed by Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America, participated in the Patriarchal divine services at the Church of the Ascension in Belgrade, Serbia.

Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the presence of the Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign" and the full relics of Venerable Justin (Popović) of Ćelije.

Later that day, a procession including a great multitude of worshippers proceeded from Holy Ascension Church to St. Sava Patriarchal Cathedral.
