On December 1 – the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost – Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse paid an archpastoral visit to the Church of the Entrance into the Temple of the Holy Virgin (St. Mary’s) in Jamesville-Syracuse, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy in honor of the parish’s upcoming patronal feast day (December 4).

Concelebrating with His Grace were: parish rector Archpriest Nicholas Tkatschow, Archpriest Michael Taratuchin (rector of St. John of Kronstadt Memorial Church in Utica, NY), Hieromonk Anatoly (Zilin; cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY), Priest John Malcom (parish cleric), Archdeacon Paisios (Levakov) & Protodeacon Michael Pavuk (clerics of Holy Trinity Monastery) and Deacon Lazarus Sparandera (cleric of St. John of Kronstadt Church).

After Liturgy, a festal luncheon was served in the parish hall for the archpastor, clergy, and faithful.
