On Great & Holy Friday, April 18, Subdeacon Anthony Kofonow (longtime sacristan of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ) reposed in the Lord after a lengthy illness. He was 75 years old. For three, weeks he received Holy Communion every day.
On Great & Holy Thursday, the clergy read the canon for departure of soul and he received Christ’s Holy Mysteries for the last time. Subdeacon Anthony faithfully served in the altar for 55 years. He is survived by his wife Nina and stepson, Kyrill.

3:00 PM – Panihida
Bright Tuesday, April 22
9:00 AM – Divine Liturgy
11:00 AM – Funeral, followed by interment in St. Vladimir Cemetery in Jackson, NJ
Memorial repast to follow in cathedral hall.
All services to be held in St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
