On June 22, the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost, of All Saints who shone forth in the Russian land, His Grace Luke, Bishop of Syracuse, celebrated Divine Liturgy in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY.

Concelebrating with the monastery abbot and Eastern American Diocesan vicar bishop were monastery and local clergy, as well as clerics among the seminary student body.

After the Great Entrance, Bishop Luke ordained Deacon Seth Davidenko (cleric of the Canadian Diocese) to the priesthood. Priest Seth will fulfill his obedience in the Western American Diocese.

Fr. Seth graduated with honors from the Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) program at Holy Trinity Seminary, becoming valedictorian in 2018, and continued his theological education, receiving a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree and graduating with honors from postgraduate studies in 2021.
