On Wednesday, August 27, Archpriest Alexander Fedorowski (dean of St. Seraphim Cathedral at Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY) celebrated his 95th birthday. Fr. Alexander is the senior-most cleric of the Eastern American Diocese, having been ordained deacon and priest by Archbishop Nikon (Rklitsky) in 1961.

In the morning, on the forefeast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, Fr. Alexander celebrated Divine Liturgy in the cathedral. 

Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York relayed his archpastoral blessings and well-wishes to Fr. Alexander on this auspicious occasion.
