On Sunday the 9th of November, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to Our Lady "Joy of All Who Sorrow" Church in Cumming (Atlanta), GA. The visit was timed for the parish festivities in honor of its patronal feast, which took place on Thursday, November 6 – in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow."

Serving alongside His Eminence were clerics of St. Mary of Egypt Church in Atlanta, GA: Archimandrite John (Townsend; dean of Georgia, Alabama & Mississippi), Hieromonk Razhden (Ashjazadeh), and Deacon Peter Epstein; parish clerics: rector Priest Eugene Antonov and Deacon Anton Kouznetsov; and Protodeacon Dimitri Temidis (cleric of St. Elizabeth the New-Martyr Church in Columbia, SC).

The parish choir prayerfully sang the responses at Liturgy. A multitude of parishioners prayed at the divine services, most of whom communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Upon conclusion of Liturgy, Metropolitan Nicholas greeted the clergy and faithful with the joyous feast. After the service, the sisterhood prepared a meal in the parish hall, where interaction continued between the clergy and parishioners.
