On December 14, the 27th Sunday after Pentecost, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse paid an archpastoral visit to the Church of the Entrance into the Temple of the Holy Virgin (St. Mary’s) in Jamesville-Syracuse, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy. The visit was timed to coincide with celebrations of the parish’s patronal feast day, which had taken place on December 4.
Concelebrating with His Grace were: parish rector Archpriest Nicholas Tkatschow, Priest John Malcom (parish cleric), and Protodeacon Michael Pavuk (cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, accompanying the bishop).
After Liturgy, a festal luncheon was served in the parish hall for the archpastor, clergy, and faithful.
