San Francisco, CA: Bishop Theodosius officiates Forgiveness Sunday Vespers in Joy of All Who Sorrow Diocesan Cathedral
On the evening of February 22, Cheesefare Sunday – the Sunday of Forgiveness and the commemoration of Adam’s expulsion from Paradise – His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Manhattan, prayed during the evening service and presided over the Rite of Forgiveness in the Diocesan Cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco, CA. Serving alongside His Grace were clergy of the Western American Diocese.
The hymns were sung by the cathedral choir under the direction of Vladimir Krassovsky and the choir directed by John Buff.
Bishop Theodosius read the prayers at the beginning of Great Lent and then asked forgiveness from the clergy and parishioners of the cathedral.
