Howell, NJ: Clergy of New Jersey Deanery perform Holy Unction in St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
On Sunday, March 22, the feast of the 40 Martyrs of Sebaste, the Sacrament of Holy Unction was performed in St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ. The rector, Archpriest Serge Lukianov, was joined by cathedral clerics and other New Jersey clergy:
- Archpriest Vasily Andrejuk (cathedral cleric)
- Archpriest Zoran Radovic (rector of St. George Serbian Church in Elizabeth, NJ)
- Archpriest Leonid Goferman (rector of Holy Virgin Protection Church in New Brunswick, NJ)
- Archpriest Nikolai Manduke (cleric of St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ)
- Archpriest Serge Ledkovsky (deputy rector of St. Vladimir Memorial Church)
- Priest Anthony Williams (cathedral cleric)
- Protodeacon Paul Drozdowski (cathedral cleric)
- Protodeacon Alexandre Sarandinaki (cathedral cleric), and
- Deacon Dumitru Lişan (cathedral cleric).
Praying in church was cathedral cleric Archpriest Boris Slootsky.
Over 225 of the faithful participated in the blessed Sacrament, as they prepared their souls on the Lenten journey to Holy Pascha.
