On Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th of April, the great feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse, officiated the festal divine services in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. Serving alongside His Grace were monastery and visiting clergy.
At Vigil on Saturday evening, after the reading of the Gospel, the blessing of the palms and pussy willows, which were then distributed to the brethren and pilgrims, was performed.
The following morning, Bishop Luke celebrated Divine Liturgy, co-served by monastery clergy.
At the Sixth Hour, His Grace tonsured seminarian Caleb Short a reader.
