On May 17, the 6th Sunday of Pascha, that of the Blind Man, His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Manhattan, paid an archpastoral visit to St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ, where he officiated the All-Night Vigil on the evening of May 16 and celebrated Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning.

Serving alongside His Grace were cathedral clerics: Archpriest Vasily Andrejuk, rector Archpriest Serge Lukianov, Priest Anthony Williams, Protodeacons Paul Drozdowski and Alexandre Sarandinaki, and Deacon Dumitru Lişan; as well as Protodeacon Michael Pavuk (cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY) and Deacon Denis Letunovsky (cleric of St. Seraphim of Sarov OCA Church in Rawdon, QC, Canada).

Numerous parishioners and guests prayed at the divine services. Many communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Upon conclusion of the service, Bishop Theodosius addressed the faithful with a sermon on the Gospel reading concerning the healing of the blind man.

Fr. Serge thanked His Grace for their shared prayers and presented him with a beautifully crafted icon of the Resurrection of Christ as a gift; he also reminded parishioners to attend the services for the Feast of the Leavetaking of Pascha.

The cathedral sisterhood hosted a festal meal for the clergy and the faithful, during which their fraternal interaction continued.
