Often, we think that our Christian duty consists solely of prayer, church attendance, observance of fasts, and the participation in the Sacraments. On Thursday, January 14, Archimandrite Martin (Hohlfeld), cleric of the Eastern American Diocese, reposed in the Lord. He was 75 years old. Fr. Martin was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1941. He converted to Holy Orthodoxy and, in 2010, was tonsured a reader and ordained subdeacon, deacon, and priest by Bishop Jerome of Manhattan.
