"Voice of America," the official external broadcast institution of the United States federal government, recently held an interview with Archpriest Victor Potapov – rector of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Washington, DC and the Eastern American Diocese’s Dean of the South.

According to "Voice of America’s" website, "Over the course of three decades, Fr. Victor ran the radio program ‘Religion in Our Life’ on ‘Voice of America.’ In his interview, he speaks on Church-state relations and on the celebration of the Nativity by Russian-Americans." Our priest in the American capital was especially glad to touch on the joy of the Nativity Fast and celebrating the festal Christmastide season.
