On Tuesday, December 4 – the great feast of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos – Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan paid an archpastoral visit to the Church of the Entrance into the Temple of the Holy Virgin (St. Mary’s) in Jamesville-Syracuse, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy in honor of the parish’s patronal feast day.
Concelebrating with His Grace at Liturgy were parish rector Archpriest Nicholas Tkatschow, Archpriests David Hritcko (rector of St. Basil Church in Simpson, PA) and Michael Taratuchin (rector of St. John of Kronstadt Memorial Church in Utica, NY), Protodeacons Joseph Jarostchuk and Nikifor Franklin (clerics of the same), and Deacon Michael Pavuk (cleric of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Mayfield, PA).
After the service, a festal luncheon was served in the parish hall for the archpastor, clergy, and faithful.
