On Wednesday, September 11, Metropolitan Vikenty (Vincent) of Tashket & Uzbekistan, Bishop Daniel of Bishkek & Kyrgyzstan, and Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, joined by the clergy of the Bishkek Diocese and clerics of the Russian Church Abroad, celebrated Divine Liturgy in Holy Resurrection Diocesan Cathedral in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Upon completion of the service, a moleben was served before the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign."
Today is the last day of the great and holy Orthodox icon’s visitation to Holy Resurrection Cathedral. After the service, the icon will be taken to St. Vladimir Cathedral, where it will remain until midday on Thursday, September 12.
