On Sunday, September 15, His Grace Luke, Bishop of Syracuse, celebrated Divine Liturgy in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. The divine services were held in the monastery’s main Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Concelebrating with the Eastern American Diocesan vicar bishop was monastery and local clergy, as well as clerics among the seminary student body.

After the Great Entrance, Bishop Luke ordained Deacon George Sharonoff to the priesthood. Priest George will fulfill his obedience in Christ the Savior Church in Sugar Notch, PA and Holy Protection Mission in Lewisburg, PA.

After the service, a delicious luncheon was served in the monastery refectory.
