On December 27, the Sunday of the Holy Forefathers, with the blessing of Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern American & New York, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada officiated the divine services in St. Luke the Blessed Surgeon Church in Pompano Beach, FL.
On Saturday evening, His Eminence officiated All-Night Vigil, and celebrated Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning, co-served by parish clergy: Archpriest Vasily Zelenyuk and Priest Demetrio Romeo, as well as Protodeacon Serge Arlievsky (cleric of Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY).
The parish choir, led by Katherine Lukianov, sang the divine services beautifully and prayerfully.
Upon completion of Liturgy, His Eminence addressed the faithful with a sermon. Greeting the visiting hierarch, Fr. Vasily thanked him for his visit and shared prayers.
A festal luncheon was held in the parish hall, during which the clergy and parishioners continued their interaction.
