Jordanville, NY: First Week of Great Lent in Holy Trinity Monastery
During the first week of Great Lent, March 7-11, the full cycle of divine services was held in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. Leading the reading of the Great Penitential Canon of St. Andrew of Crete in the evenings, as well as the Divine Liturgies of the Presanctified Gifts, was Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse.
Singing at the services was the seminary choir, under the direction of Deacon Nicholas Kotar.
On Sunday, March 13, the feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, Bishop Luke will celebrate the Divine Liturgy and led the Rite of Orthodoxy.
