On Saturday, May 14, clergy and parishioners of Holy Epiphany Church in Roslindale (Boston), MA gathered to mark two important commemorative dates – the 15th anniversaries of the signing of Act of Canonical Communion between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Russian Church Abroad, and the repose of longtime rector Archpriest Roman Lukianov (+2007).

Celebrating Divine Liturgy was the dean of New England, Archpriest Michael Crowley, joined by Archpriests Serafim Gan (Chancellor of the Synod of Bishops), Brendan Crowley (rector of St. Nicholas Church in Enfield, CT), Victor Boldewskul (parish rector), Constantine Semyanko (rector of Holy Protection Church in Stratford, CT), and Thomas Reske (parish cleric), and Protodeacons Nicholas Drobot (cleric of Holy New Martyrs Church in Norwich, CT) Victor Ganson and Alexander Kurenkov (parish clerics). Praying in the altar was Protodeacon Joseph Jarostchuk (parish cleric).

Upon conclusion of Liturgy, a panihida was served for the reposed signers of the Act – His Holiness Patriarch Alexey II & Metropolitan Laurus, as well as Fr. Roman, who was an ardent proponent of the reconciliation.

A memorial repast was then served in the parish hall.
