On Tuesday, June 14, the third day of Holy Pentecost, Their Graces, Bishops Theodosius of Seattle and Nicholas of Manhattan, were received by His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of Jerusalem & All Palestine.

With the blessing of the ROCOR Synod of Bishops, the archpastors, having asked the blessing of His Beatitude to visit the sites of the Holy Land, gave him two panagias and a cross which had at one time belonged to Metropolitan Hilarion of blessed memory. A discussion of matters of mutual interest then ensued.

The bishops were accompanied by Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem of the Russian Church Abroad.
