On September 11-12, 2021, a celebration will be held at St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ, in honor of the 800th anniversary of the birth of Holy Right-Believing Great Prince Alexander Nevsky. All Orthodox clergy and faithful are invited to participate in this joyous celebration, which will take place in the presence of the Kursk Root and myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Icons of the Mother of God.
Services will be officiated by the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad and ruling bishop of the Eastern American Diocese, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, co-served by Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada, Bishops Theoctist of Pereslavl & Uglich, Nicholas of Manhattan, and Luke of Syracuse.

8:45 AM – Reading of the Hours. Greeting of the Wonderworking Icons of the Mother of God.
9:30 AM – Greeting of the First Hierarch. Hierarchal Divine Liturgy and procession. Banquet in parish hall to follow.
Serving clergy are asked to bring their own white vestments with gold trim. For Deacons, red oraria.
