On Sunday, March 20, the feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, Metropolitan Jonah celebrated Divine Liturgy and led the Rite of Orthodoxy in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. His Eminence was co-served by monastery abbot and seminary rector Archimandrite Luke (Murianka) and monastery clegy. During the Rite of Orthodoxy, the Anathemas, Memory Eternal, and Polychronia were intoned by seminary graduate Deacon Peter Markevich.

Upon completion of the service, Metropolitan Jonah joined the monastic brethren and took part in a festal lenten luncheon. His Eminence concluded his visit to the monastery with archpastoral interaction with the monks.
