Feast of Theophany in Eastern American Diocesan Parishes and Monasteries
On Sunday, January 19, the clergy and faithful of the Eastern American Diocese joyously celebrated the great feast of the Baptism (Theophany) of our Lord Jesus Christ. On the day of the feast, when "the nature of the waters is sanctified," it is proper to perform the Great Blessing of the Water.
