On Friday, November 14, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, visited Sts. Cosmas & Damian Church in Passaic, NJ and celebrated the Divine Liturgy in honor of the parish’s patronal feast day.
His Grace was co-served by:

- Archpriest George Kallaur (rector of Our Lady "Unexpected Joy" Church on Staten Island, NY);
- Archpriest Mark Burachek (rector of Our Lady of Kazan Church in Newark, NJ);
- Archpriest George Zelenin (rector of St. Michael’s Cathedral in Paterson, NJ);
- Archpriest Boris Slootsky (cleric of St. Alexander Nevsky Diocesan Cathedral in Howell, NJ);
- Archpriest Vasiliy Raskovskiy;
- Priest Serge Ledkovsky (deputy rector of St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ);
- Priest Dmitri Don (parish rector); and
- Protodeacon Vladimir Oliynyk (parish cleric).
Upon completion of the Liturgy, on behalf of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, Bishop Nicholas presented a diocesan gramota to Basil Margitich, the parish’s warden emeritus. Fr. Dmitri then warmly greeted His Grace, thanking him for his archpastoral visit.
After the service, a bountiful lenten luncheon was served in the parish hall.
