On Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of January, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan visited Holy Epiphany Church in Boston, MA, where he led the divine services. His Grace’s visit was timed for the parish festivities in honor of its patronal feast, the Baptism of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ – Theophany.
On the morning of Sunday, January 20, the clergy, warden, and faithful greeted Bishop Nicholas. Concelebrating with Bishop Nicholas at Liturgy were parish rector Archpriest Victor Boldewskul and parish clergy: Protodeacons Alexander Jarostchuk and Victor Ganson and Deacon Alexander Kurenkov.
Singing at the divine services was the parish choir under the direction of Reader Nicholas Ganson. Despite a strong snowstorm blanketing the area, over 150 parishioners flocked to the church, and many received Christ’s Holy Mysteries.
A banquet was held in the parish hall in honor of the parish’s patronal feast the day prior.
