On Saturday, June 29, the eve of the feast of All Saints who have shone forth in the Russian Land, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse, paid an archpastoral visit to St. Alexander Nevsky Diocesan Cathedral in Howell, NJ, where he led the festal All-Night Vigil.
Serving at Vigil with His Grace were: Archpriests Serge Lukianov (cathedral rector) and Alexander Webster (dean of Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, NY), Abbot Arseny (Manko; rector of Sts. Cosmas & Damian Church in Passaic, NJ), Archpriest Seraphim Chemodakov (cathedral cleric), Hieromonk Anatoly (Zilin; cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville), Priests George Kaplanov (cathedral cleric) and Ephraim Willmarth (cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery), and Protodeacons Vadim Gan (cleric of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City), Nicholas Lukianov, and Paul Drozdowski (cathedral clerics).
Singing the service were a male and mixed choirs, comprised of participants of the Patriarch Tikhon Russian-American Music (PaTRAM) Institute, which was completing its latest master class at the diocesan cathedral under the direction of Maestro Vladimir Gorbik and Benedict Sheehan. Singing in the choirs were: Priest Gregory Winsky (cleric of St. Michael Church MP in Philadelphia, PA), Priest Mikel Hill (cleric of St. Tikhon of Zadonsk OCA Monastery in South Canaan, PA), Protodeacon Leonid Roschko (cathedral cleric), and Deacons Michael Pavuk (cleric of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Mayfield, PA) and Nicholas Ilyin (cleric of Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY).
Upon completion of First Hour, Bishop Luke addressed the faithful with an edifying sermon.
