On Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th of August, the great feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, with the blessing of Metropolitan Longin of Saratov & Volsk, Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan served the All-Night Vigil in Holy Protection Church in Saratov, Russia.

The following morning, the Eastern American Diocesan vicar celebrated Divine Liturgy. His Grace was joined at the services by the parish dean, Archimandrite Euthymius (Mitryukov), Abbot Seraphim (Kotelnikov; cleric of the Diocese of Kursk), Priest Serge Filimonov, Priest Ilya Kozlov, Protodeacon Oleg Drozdov, Hierodeacon Rufin (Antipov), and Deacon Maksim Titov.
