Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan: Bishop Nicholas participates in Liturgy in St. Vladimir Cathedral

On Thursday, September 12, Metropolitan Vikenty (Vincent) of Tashkent & Uzbekistan, Bishop Daniel of Bishkek & Kyrgyzstan, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, the clergy of the Diocese of Bishkek, and visiting clerics of the Russian Church Abroad concelebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Vladimir Cathedral in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.

The service was held under the aegis of the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God, currently visiting the churches of the Central Asian Metropolitanate.

Upon conclusion of Liturgy, a short moleben was served before the holy image. Metropolitan Vikenty then addressed parishioners with an archpastoral sermon.
