On Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th of June, the great feast of Holy Pentecost, the clergy and parishioners of Holy Trinity Church in Mebane, NC celebrated their patronal feast day. The festal All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy were served by parish rector Hieromonk Nikon (Kashkovalov). Singing at the divine services was the parish choir, under the direction of Reader Andrew Semyanko.
In his sermon at the conclusion of Great Vespers with the Kneeling Prayers, Fr. Nikon congratulated parishioners with the feast. He underlined how joyful it was, that after three months of quarantine, the parish was once again allowed to have services with its faithful. He also remarked on the recent renovations made in the church. A new floor was installed, the walls were painted, and the grounds beautifully decorated.
After the services, all those in attendance performed a procession around the church.
