On Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th of December, the 26th Sunday after Pentecost, the afterfeast of the great feast of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the commemoration of the Holy Hierarch Metrophanes of Voronezh, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Virgin Intercession Church in Glen Cove, NY, where he officiated the divine services.

On Saturday evening and Sunday morning, Archbishop Gabriel led the All-Night Vigil and celebrated Divine Liturgy, co-served by parish clergy: rector Archpriest Alexandre Antchoutine and Protodeacon Serguei Mikhailov.

Upon completion of Liturgy, His Eminence addressed the faithful with a sermon, and then spoke briefly about his recent travels to parishes of the Eastern American Diocese.

Greeting the hierarchal guest, Fr. Alexandre thanked the archbishop for his visit and shared prayers.
