On February 7, the Sunday of the Holy New Martyrs of Russia, parish cleric Archpriest Petro Kunitsky celebrated Divine Liturgy in honor of the patronal feast day of Holy New Martyrs & Confessors of Russia Church in Brooklyn, NY.

Parishioners and faithful from other parishes in the city came to pray at the divine service, observing all required sanitary guidelines. Upon completion of Liturgy, worshippers communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Since the end of January, renovations have been taking place in the church; thus, Liturgy was celebrated in the downstairs hall, where all of the scheduled divine services are taking place. It is anticipated that most of the renovations will be completed by Pascha, while the new iconostasis ordered by the parish should be delivered by July.
