On Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of September, the feast of the Miracle of the Archangel Michael at Colossæ, the parish of St. Panteleimon on Hartford, CT, led by rector Archpriest Dionisy Nalitov, performed a pilgrimage to Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. There, the faithful attended the monastic divine services over the weekend, were offered meals in the monastery refectory, and were able to tour the monastery grounds, praying at its chapels and cemeteries.
In reporting the event, the brotherhood in Jordanville noted: "From its foundation, the monastery has been conceived as a place of pilgrimage to provide spiritual solace for the faithful, so in need of comfort in a difficult world. We are glad to be able to once again receive pilgrims, and we pray that all those who came here went home renewed and filled with the grace of God."
