On April 3, the fourth Sunday of Great Lent, dedicated to Venerable John Climacus, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City. Concelebrating with His Eminence was cathedral dean Archpriest Andrei Sommer.

The Synodal choir sang the divine service under the direction of conductor Vadim S. Gan.

Honoring the days of Great Lent, parishioners confessed their sins and communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Upon completion of Liturgy, Archbishop Gabriel addressed the gathered faithful with a sermon on the subject of the feast.
