Dear in the Lord Reverend Fathers,

Christ is Risen!

In connection with the repose of our universally beloved archpastor and father, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, I am writing to inform you of the order of commemoration of the hierarchy at the divine services.

The name of His Eminence Mark, Metropolitan of Berlin & Germany, is to be commemorated in all churches of the Diocese after that of His Holiness, Patriarch Kyrill, with following wording: „for our lord the Very Most Reverend Metropolitan Mark.” At the Great Entrance and at “Among the first, remember, O Lord” (after the name of His Holiness, the Patriarch) ‒ “our lord the Very Most Reverend Mark, Metropolitan of Berlin & Germany.” A full list of commemorations is attached.

Services commemorating “the newly reposed Metropolitan Hilarion” are to be held in all churches of the Diocese.

UPDATE: In accordance with the resolution of the Synod of Bishops, His Grace, Bishop Nicholas, is to be commemorated after Metropolitan Mark in his capacity as acting ruling bishop.
