The 74th school year at Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, NY has been successfully completed, and on June 5, the 7th Sunday after Pascha – that of the Holy Fathers of the 1st Ecumenical Council, the seminary celebrated its annual commencement with a hierarchal Divine Liturgy, thanksgiving moleben, commencement exercises, and a reception.
His Grace Luke, Bishop of Syracuse ‒ abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and seminary rector ‒ celebrated Liturgy, co-served by monastery and visiting clergy. Prior to the start of the service, during the reading of the Sixth Hour, seminary graduate Jorge Luque-Martin was tonsured a reader.
After the service, a luncheon was served in the monastery refectory. A procession of seminary administrators, faculty, and students then went to the cathedral for a thanksgiving moleben for the end of the school year.
2022 B.Th. graduates include: Timothy Agarkov, Cum Laude, undergraduate valedictorian Reader John Keller, Summa Cum Laude, Alexander Liberio, and Reader Jorge Luque-Martin, Cum Laude.
2022 M.Div. graduates include: Hieromonk Felipe (Balingit), Cum Laude, Alexandre Duiven, and graduate valedictorian Subdeacon Peter James, Cum Laude.
