On Saturday, March 30, with full Lenten sense of the mercy of God and the recognization of our own human limitation, the local faithful of Misión San Juan de Shanghai y San Francisco in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, together with its rector, Priest Daniel Valle, and the benevolent help of friends of the mission, shared the word of our Lord with children of the local community, providing toys and clothes to those in need.

Conversion happens on an individual basis; thus, thought must be given to every person, both those who give and those who receive, and miracles are witnessed when one learns to share what he has. When we give to our brothers and sisters in need, they in turn reveal to us the presence of our suffering Christ.

Glory to God for all things, since every good and every grace is owed to Him.
