On Thursday, May 16, the second anniversary of the repose of Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral; +2022), sixth First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, served a panihida after Divine Liturgy in St. Sergius of Radonezh Chapel at the Synodal Headquarters in New York City.

The same day, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse, served a panihida for the late First Hierarch at the cemetery of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, to a large gathering of monastics, brethren, and pilgrims.

A memorial luncheon was then offered, donated by Metropolitan Nicholas.
