On June 28 – the 4th Sunday after Pentecost – Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City, co-served by Bishop Theodosius of Manhattan.

On June 27-28, the 4th Sunday after Pentecost and the feast day of the Holy Hierarch Michael, Metropolitan of Kiev, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Michael of Boston officiated the divine services in St. Xenia Church in Methuen, MA.

On Thursday, June 25, the feast day of St Onuphrius the Great, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St Sabbas the Sanctified Monastery in the suburbs of Detroit, MI.

On June 21 – the 3rd Sunday after Pentecost – Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City, co-served by Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Theodosius of Manhattan.

On June 14, the Second Sunday after Pentecost, that of All Saints who shone forth in the Russian Land, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.

On Monday the 8th and Tuesday the 9th of June, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to St. John the Russian Church in Ipswich, MA, where he officiated the divine services on the occasion of the parish’s patronal feast.

On June 7th – the First Sunday after Pentecost, that of All Saints – Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.

On Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st of May, the Orthodox Church celebrated the great feast of Pentecost. Throughout the Eastern American Diocese, its hierarchs officiated the divine services commemorating the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostles: All-Night Vigil, Divine Liturgy, and Great Vespers with the Kneeling Prayers.

On Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st of May, the great feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit (Pentecost), Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Trinity Church in Mebane, NC where he officiated the divine services on the occasion of the parish’s patronal feast.

On Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st of May, the great feast of Pentecost was celebrated with the usual solemnity in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. In preparation for the feast, Holy Trinity Cathedral was decorated with green saplings and bouquets of flowers.

On Monday, June 1 – the Day of the Holy Spirit – clergy from the parishes of the New Jersey Deanery and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania gathered at Holy Trinity Church in Vineland, NJ, to jointly celebrate the festal Divine Liturgy and to offer their congratulations to the parish rector, Archpriest Ljubo Milosevic, and parishioners on the feast of Holy Pentecost.

On Sunday, May 31, the great feast of Holy Pentecost (Holy Trinity Sunday), the faithful gathered at St. Vladimir Cemetery in Jackson, NJ for a panihida at St. John the Baptist Chapel to commemorate the victims of Lienz.

On Friday, May 29, the eve of the feast of Holy Pentecost, 13 baptisms were performed in the community of San Juan Clímaco Mission in San Germán, PR.

On Thursday evening, May 28, the myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God visited Holy Dormition Church in McKeesport, PA.

On Monday morning, May 25, a monumental occasion in the life of Holy Myrrhbearers Church in Mt. Crawford, VA: Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York officiated the great consecration of the church and celebrated Divine Liturgy on the newly sanctified altar.

On Tuesday evening, May 26, the myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God visited St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Mayfield, PA. The icon’s guardian, Priest Nectarios Yangson, accompanied the icon to the cathedral, which was filled to capacity with worshippers and clergy.

On Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th of May – the 7th Sunday after Pascha, commemorating the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council, and likewise the day when the Holy Church celebrates the memory of the Holy Equals-of-the-Apostles Methodius and Cyril, Teachers of the Slavs – with the blessing of Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, Bishop Nikolai (Soraich) paid an archpastoral visit to St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ, where he officiated the divine services.

On May 24, the Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada paid an archpastoral visit to St. Andrew Stratelates Cathedral in St. Petersburg, FL, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy.

On Saturday, May 23, a festive graduation ceremony marking the 73rd graduating class took place at the St. Cyril and Methodius School in San Francisco, CA. The celebratory day began with a Thanksgiving Moleben, served by the school’s inspector and deputy director – His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Manhattan.

On Friday, May 22, the parish of St. Nicholas in Endicott, NY was filled with festal joy as the faithful gathered to celebrate the Translation of the Holy Relics of their beloved patron, the Wonderworker of Myra. 

On Friday, May 22, His Grace, Bishop Jerome (Shaw), paid an archpastoral visit to St. Nicholas Church in Poughkeepsie, NY, and celebrated Divine Liturgy there in honor of the parish’s patronal feast day.

On Thursday, May 21 – the great feast of the Ascension of the Lord and the feast day of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian – Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City

On Sunday, May 18, the feast of the icon of the Mother of God "The Inexhaustible Chalice," Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to the eponymous stavropegial metochion church in Brooklyn, NY, in honor of its patronal feast day.

On Saturday May 16th, the feast of Venerable Theodosius, abbot of the Kiev Caves, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Virgin Protection Church in Nyack, NY in honor of the 75th anniversary of its parish Russian School.

On May 17, the 6th Sunday of Pascha, that of the Blind Man, His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Manhattan, paid an archpastoral visit to St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ, where he officiated the All-Night Vigil on the evening of May 16 and celebrated Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning.
